Traphik’s (TimothyDeLaGhetto) response to Asians in the Library
Anyways, If you didn’t hear, Alexandra Wallace has withdrawn from UCLA due to “death threats and harassment.” Her withdrawal comes after the University’s decision not to discipline her because they found nothing that violated the code of conduct.
There’s no doubt that what she did was blatantly racist and offensive, but harrassment on a daily basis and death threats toward her and her family are completely unnecessary. While UCLA may not have disciplined her, this isn’t going to be leaving her anytime soon. Instead of thinking “This bitch is racist,” we need to understand why. This could have been an opportunity to take the time to discuss and educate on issues of race.
